Freya is our six-year-old Great Dane — black, with a white blaze on her nose and chest and four perfect white socks. She's "small for a Dane", and she's taken that personally: her favourite dogs are the tiniest ones she can find, and we're fairly sure she believes she's one of them.
Life with her is a highlight reel. Zoomies at the front door when I get home. The yard drive-by — full gallop straight at you, then peeling off at the last second.
